Here at CBS Tool we utilize NX Unigraphics to design our gages and fixtures which allows us to work natively in the same CAD environment as all OEM Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. 

This software allows us to produce 3d models for Build and CNC machining as well as PLM mark ups, 2d Layouts, and Detail assembly sheets. 

We also use Tetra4D as a support to NX for translation and viewing of any file type currently being used in our field today. From Step/Stp to IGES/IGS to Catpart data and many more, we are able to receive and use the files you send no matter the type. 

Our Design team with GD&T and Blueprint Certifications for interpreting and creating are prepared to provide all the necessary technical documents and support after your tool has been delivered and ensure you can fine tune your parts exactly how you need them.

CBS Tool's floor is host to a variety of CNC Machining Centers which have access to all of CBS Tool's machining data. Each machine is equipped with a personal computer that is capable of post processing code, downloading data to control memory or through DNC.

 CBS Tool controls its products through a CAD/CAM process that assists the code generation for Computer Numerical Control of the machine tool. The code is uploaded to the machines via a Direct Numerical Control link and the computer is able to interpret the design intent of the tools that will be manufactured.
